In the days leading up to the World Clean-up Day, the crew welcomed pirates from the Netherlands!
Captain Fanplastic worked together with The Great Plastic Bake Off, Chill and Soapbox Netherlands and had an amazing cleanup around the Maas river with 64 little pirates from Bernard Lievegoed Basisschool. During the treasure hunt the pirates collected a total of 12kgs of treasure!

The Great Plastic Bake Off and Chill took all the collected treasure and used it to create colourful tiles with the campaign #TheOceanStartsHere, which were placed along the river and at the school.

The learners were thrilled to be part of a crew of pirates from around the world. The aim was to inspire the children to change their behaviour towards plastic and educate them on what they can do to keep their town clean.
