On the 7th September Captain Fanplastic teamed up with the Beach CoOp and Willard Batteries to do a massive clean up on Mnandi Beach. A host of children from the resident community joined in on the fu
n and learned about the impacts of plastic pollution on the marine environment.
A total of 9.4 kg of waste was collected by the children and added to the Beach Coop’s staggering total of one ton of marine litter collected during September #InternationalCoastalCleanup month
